Displaying Ambassadors Sign ups on Rally Events
We now have the option to display ambassadors who sign up using the ambassador sign up form on the rally event page.
Please reach out to support@causematch.com or your Campaign Success Manager to display your sign ups from the sign up form to your rally event page.
It is recommended to connect only one rally event to the signup form at a time. The signups from the signup form will be displayed on all the connected rally events at the time of sign up.
How this works
Once the Layer Item sign-up form is created, make sure to have it connected to the corresponding campaign as well as to the rally event page by reaching our support team.
Then the Sign-ups made through this signup form will create a rally event request as well as ambassador on the Campaign page.
Thus those rally requests will be eventually displayed on the rally event page as a new recruit.
i. Glimpse of our normal Layer Item Sign up form through which Rally requests can now be added. As we know this form can be shared via link.
ii. Once Signed up, here is a glimpse of the rally requested automatically created on the Rally event page, with the details provided through the form:
iii. You can also see the same added and listed under the Rally events section on the dashboard side as well, giving your team full access to edit or manage such requests from the backend as usual.
Adding to the above, the new signup would also be automatically added as an ambassador on the campaign page.
The “Ambassador Name” field on the signup page will be used as the “Name” field for the rally event request.
If the ambassador signed up is not being displayed on the rally event, and coming up as “Hidden” on the rally event requests, reach out to your Campaign Success Manager (CSM) or support@causematch.com.
A new column namely "Layer Item ID” has been added to the rally event request table.
*If a request was created through a signup page, this column will have the layer item ID of the layer item that was created as part of the same signup.
Also the goal amount, currency, email, phone, and the newly added phone prefix field will be populated with the same data entered on signup page as the layer item.
Additional Things to Know:
Rally Event pages only support a single currency. Signups made using a different currency will be added with the amount hidden, and will have to be manually converted to the rally event page currency in the 'Rally Event Request' menu.
Deleting/Updating a Rally Event Request which got created via a Signup form will not update the ambassador/community details for the same in the Signup Page/ Peer to Peer dashboard and vice versa.
It needs to be manually updated to have consistent data.
"Layer item ID" (See point 5 in How this Works) and "Phone Prefix" are added to the rally event request export as well.
If a Rally Event is connected to the Signup form after a few users already signing up to be ambassadors/communities/teams, then all the previous signups will not be available in the newly added Rally Event page.
