Broom - Voucher Option

Broom - Voucher Option

Broom is a British voucher system designed specifically for campaigns with GBP currency.

Alert
It supports both one-time and recurring donations, helping streamline the donation process for your supporters.
Please note that tipping feature is not available with this gateway.

This guide will walk you through the steps to enable Broom for your campaign:

Getting Started

Step 1: Ensure GBP is Enabled on Your Campaign Page

Before setting up the Broom, confirm that your campaign page is configured to accept GBP (British Pounds) donations.

Step 2: Provide Required Information

To enable broom, you’ll need to provide the following details. Please send the details directly to Broom via email at
office@broomfoundation.org.uk, ensuring that support@causematch.com and the Customer Success Manager are CC’d on the email:
  1. Charity name: The official name of the charity.
  2. Charity registration number: The unique identifier for the charity.
  3. Charity bank details: The bank account is specific to this campaign.
  4. Campaign name/slogan: The campaign title.
  5. Campaign dates: Start and end dates.
  6. Return URL: The campaign’s URL.

Step 3: Complete the Compliance Form

You will also need to complete the "Charity Online Campaign Integration Application" form which is an essential step that must be completed for verification and approval from Broom.
Warning
This form is required to authorize payments, and Broom will only provide the Hash Key and ID once it has been signed and approved.

Step 4: Receive and Enable Broom

Once Broom has verified the details and processed your request, they will send a Hash Key and ID to support@causematch.com. Once we receive this information, we will update your campaign’s settings to enable the Broom gateway.

Key Notes:

  1. Donation Tracking:

On the donations dashboard, donations made through Broom will be highlighted using the keyword “Broom” under the Gateway column. The Payment Type column in donation exports will also reflect this information

Warning
The credentials provided for Broom will be unique to each individual campaign and page. For example, if a campaign has both English and Hebrew pages, the credentials for each language-specific page will be different.
