Analytics: Donor Segmentation

Finding the Donors and sorting them using filters.

This new feature update provides us the facility to find the donors for a campaign and all details about them, directly from the Home section on the dashboard. We offer various ways to search for a donor or multiple donors, which is briefly elaborated below.

Steps to follow:

Step 1: Once you have logged in to your dashboard, click on the ‘Analytics’ > 'Donation Analytics' section on the left-hand panel, & then type in the campaign name on the search bar to select the campaign, as shown on the below image.

Step 2: After selecting the campaign, scroll down below to the section of the page which shows the donation and donor details.

Step 3:  The first and simplest step is to search using the donor details such as donor name/donor email/ donation ID. 

Step 4: You can do find a donor or multiple donors within a particular range of donation amount contributed by the donor. For this, please set the minimum and maximum range by simply giving values donation amount in the boxes on both the left and right sides of the slider or by adjusting the slider as shown below.

Step 5: As discussed, there are multiple ways to find a donor or group of donors, and that brings us to the next way of finding donors.

In certain cases, we might need to find all the donors who made a single/one-time donation or the donors who pledged recurring/monthly donations, or even the donors who chose to pay the donation via installments. 

In this case, can select the ‘Donation type’ checkbox as shown below and choose the type of donation from the dropdown list next to it.

Step 6: The last method of searching and sorting donations is by using the ‘Donated through an ambassador’ option. However, there are two segments to this option. 

i.) Firstly, we can just click on the checkbox before the ‘Donated through an ambassador’ option to see only the donations that were not made through any ambassador.

ii.) Secondly, we can select the checkbox and also enable the toggle button next to the ‘Donated through an ambassador’ option to see the donations that came in through ambassadors only. 

Step 7: Once the appropriate filters have been selected based on the requirements, click on the 'Apply' button to see the search results.

Please Note: All Data shown (Amount raised, Single, recurring & installment stats, Gateway, offline & API stats, Donation information stats for main page, layer pages and Donation distribution stats is unmatched, if matching is enabled only Campaign Status and Ambassador data will contain matched data.

The data segments marked in red will be the unmatched amounts and the once marked in blue will be the matched amounts if the campaign has matching.
