About the Emunim Fund 

The Emunim Fund is a Canadian organization dedicated to providing a secure financial link between Israel and Canada.

The foundation helps Israeli nonprofits build their donor bases in Canada.

With offices in Toronto and in Israel, the Emunim Fund provides Canadians with a wide selection of tax-deductible projects in Israel that are monitored to guarantee that allocated funds are used accordingly and comply with the requirements of Canadian tax legislation.

They provide timely transfers of funds to Israel, thus enabling Israeli nonprofit organizations to implement their projects expeditiously.

The Emunim Fund works with a variety of impact areas, including reducing poverty, education, health care, therapy, and counseling/support for people with Cancer.

The Emunim Fund also supports programs that provide Israeli public ambulatory, paramedic, or firefighting services.


PLEASE NOTE: The Emunim Fund will require you to provide a full financial accounting of everything you are using the funds for. This will be explained more thoroughly by the Emunim Fund themselves and it is clearly written in their contract.

Fees

The Emunim Fund charges a 2.1% fee on the donation (This is in ADDITION and completely separate from the normal Stripe fee of 2.2% + 0.30 and the CauseMatch fee).

Process

Before Campaign

  • Contact Ilan Katz at 
  • Confirm your charity information and all fees with the Emunim Fund directly.
  • Sign the Emunim Fund contract.
  • Forward the approval email to CauseMatch/Campaign Manager.
  • The Emunim Fund Stripe account will be connected to your Campaign Page to be used during the campaign for CAD donations.

After Campaign

  • The Emunim Fund needs to be contacted DIRECTLY after the campaign.
  • They will then be able to advise you of the status of the money.

Important

  • The Emunim Fund is a completely separate organization to CauseMatch and the agreement is directly between the Org/Nonprofit and the Emunim Fund.

That being said, We at CauseMatch are happy to advise and assist.

  • It may take some time to receive your money from the Emunim Fund (anywhere between 1-3 months depending on how quickly necessary documentation is provided). Please take this into account before agreeing to work with them.
