Campaign Compare is a powerful feature designed to help you to compare the Donor's Data between two campaigns effortlessly. Currently, the main piece of data that can be compared is the donor data - which past donors did not yet donate to your new campaign.
This guide is your go-to resource for unlocking the full potential of Campaign Compare, allowing you to seamlessly analyze donor data across different campaigns.
The feature currently provides the below basics:
Seeing which donors did or did not donate.
Exporting the Donors
Refreshing the Data
Sorting the data
Data Summary panel
Steps to follow:
Step 1: Once you have logged in to your dashboard, navigate to the "Campaigns" section and you will be able to locate “Campaign Compare” option which when clicked will load the Campaign Compare dashboard.
Step 2: Upon loading the Campaign Compare Dashboard, you'll see the below screen where you can select two campaigns for comparison:
From here the you can select 2 campaigns and compare them.
The method to see which past donors have not yet donated to your new campaign is to choose the older campaign in the left selector and the right one for the newer campaign.
Step 3: After selecting the campaigns, the "Compare" button will become active. Click on the "Compare" button to view the results.
The button will only be activated when two different campaigns are chosen. After fetching the data, the button label will change to "Refresh". Click on "Refresh" to see the latest data.
The donations list would show a list of donors from the 1st selected campaign who have not yet donated to the 2nd selected campaign. The “Status” column in this case would be “Didn’t donate” as shown below:
When the ‘Donated to previous campaign' tab is selected, only donors who donated to the first campaign will be shown.
When the ‘Donated to both campaigns’ tab is selected, only donors who donated to both campaigns will be shown. Also when hovering above these tabs tooltip will be displayed.
The donation comparison is based on the Email or the Phone number. If there is a donation from the 1st campaign that has the same email or phone number as a donation in the 2nd campaign, the donation is marked as "Donated" under the “Status” column.
Step 4: The dashboard includes an export button similar to standard donation export, with an additional "HAS DONATED" column.
You can take the export of donations made only to previous campaign similarly by selecting ‘Donated to previous campaign' tab.
Sample export screenshot with “HAS DONATED” column:
You can take the export of donations made to both campaigns by selecting ‘‘Donated to both campaigns’ tab.

Data Summary Panel:
We have a data summary panel on the campaign compare section, the panel will show the below details:
1. Missing Amount: a sum of all missing donations in the default currency (including recurring, not including matching). On hover, it should show the number of donors who haven’t donated yet. The text color of the amount should be green only if the sum is 0.
2. Re-secured Amount: a sum of all secured (“did donate“) donations in the default currency (including recurring, not including matching). On hover, it should show the number of donors who donated to both campaigns. Also, it should show the total gap (in the base campaign currency) between the amount that the donors (who donated to both campaigns) donated to the previous campaign and the amount they donated to the current campaign. When the gap is negative, both the gap and the sum amounts should be shown in red and when positive - in green.
3. Average change: An average of the donation amount difference from donors who donated to both campaigns (including recurring, not including matching). On hover, it should show the average gift change percentage (below or above 100%). If negative (or below 100%), show in red, and if positive (or above 100%) in green.
4. On hovering the ⓘ icon at the top corner of the panel will show “Data shown is an unmatched estimate using current rates”.
