NEW: Ambassador Compare

NEW: Ambassador Compare

Overview

Ambassador Compare is a powerful tool that lets you analyze and compare ambassador performance across two different fundraising campaigns. Just like Campaign Compare, it’s designed to give you deeper insight into how your ambassadors are engaging over time.

Whether you're running recurring annual campaigns or testing new strategies, Ambassador Compare allows you to view key data side by side—including goals set, funds raised, and performance trends. You can see results aggregated by ambassador or drill down into each ambassador’s activity in both campaigns, helping you identify what’s working, who’s excelling, and where to focus next.

Comparing Ambassadors

The Ambassador Compare feature is available from the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Dashboard.

It appears as a separate tab labeled "Ambassador Compare", placed next to the "Peer To Peer Dashboard" tab, as shown below:

Once on the Ambassador Compare tab, the user is prompted to select two campaigns:

  • Previous Campaign (left-side dropdown)

  • New Campaign (right-side dropdown)

Two ambassador entries are eligible for comparison only if they have at least one of the following in common:

  • One or more matching emails

  • One or more matching phone numbers (including prefix + number)

If no email or phone overlap exists, the ambassadors are not compared even if names are similar.

Condition 2: Match Confirmation (Optional, evaluated only after Condition 1 passes)

Once an overlap exists (Condition 1), two ambassadors are considered a match if any one of the following is true:

  • Emails are exactly the same

  • Phone numbers are exactly the same

  • Names are exactly the same

  • Names are considered similar (e.g, “Rob Smith” and “Robert Smith”, or initials like “J. Doe” and “John Doe”)
