Email feature & Bulk emailing on Donor Connect

We are delighted to let you know about this new feature: Bulk emailing feature, which is currently available on your “Analytics Dashboard”. Read the following steps to learn more about it.

Moving further, custom Emailing to Donors is a premium feature, which may be restricted within your current package.

HOW TO SEND CUSTOM EMAILS TO DONORS :

Steps to access this feature

Please check below for more details on how to access and make use of this new feature from your dashboard.

Step 1: 

Login to your dashboard using username and password.




Step 2: 

After logging into your dashboard, click on "Analytics" and then select “Donation Analytics”



Step 3:  Select the right campaign from the dropdown.





Step 4:

Once you select the campaign, the donation analytics of the campaign page will be displayed.



Step 5:

Now scroll down to the bottom and on the Donors section you will have the option to bulk select each of the donation entries.



Step 6:

Once the donation entries are selected, the “Send Email” button would become active and clickable.



Step 7: Click on the button and a popup would show up where you will be able to add a “Subject” and “Email Content”.


 



Step 8:

You can modify the content and once done, click on the “Send Email” status to send the email to selected donation entries.





Note:

A. Under the “Donations” section there is a column named “Email Status” which would show the status of the bulk emails sent out. Currently supported status are : 
1. Sent
2. Pending
3. Failed



B.  The default subject line and content would be similar to that of the default thank you email. But please note, that it does not automatically fetch the receipt content from the respective campaign backend.

C. Also the bulk email feature is not language specific.

D. Feel free to contact your respective Campaign manager assigned or the support team to learn more about the merge tag and fields that can be included in this email content to customize better.
