Overview

I.e. If Ambassador A participated in last years’ campaign– and is now back for the current campaign– you can easily email them their donor list from last year with the click of a button!

How? See Below: 

Go to Ambassador Compare > Select both campaigns from the compare drop down lists > Select our new “Send donor list” button.

Email templates will only be available when the “Send donor list” button is clicked. SMS and WhatsApp options will be disabled/greyed out and the Send donor list email template will be loaded by default.

A general but important point to note:

• Messages sent from the “Ambassador In Both” tab will be delivered to the ambassadors from the newer campaign.

• Messages from the “Only in New” tab will also target the new ambassadors.

• Messages from the “Only in Previous” tab will be sent to the ambassadors from the previous campaign.
  

Merge Tags

{{NEW_NAME}} – Name of the ambassador in the newer campaign

{{PREVIOUS_NAME}} – Name of the ambassador in the previous campaign

{{NEW_PERSONAL_GOAL}} – Goal amount in the newer campaign (in original currency)

{{PREVIOUS_PERSONAL_GOAL}}– Goal amount in the previous campaign (in original currency)

{{NEW_CAMPAIGN_NAME}} – Name of the newer campaign

{{PREVIOUS_CAMPAIGN_NAME}} – Name of the previous campaign

{{ORGANIZATION}} – Name of the organization managing the newer campaign

{{NEW_PERSONAL_LINK}} – Personal campaign page link for the newer campaign

{{PREVIOUS_DONORS_LIST}} – A formatted list of donors from the previous campaign (includes name, email, phone, amount, anonymity)

{{PREVIOUS_DONORS_LIST}} tag usage limitations

1. All merge tags are fully supported, including {{PREVIOUS_DONORS_LIST}}
   
2. The tag is not shown in the merge tag list and will be silently ignored if manually typed or pasted (renders blank)
3. The {{PREVIOUS_DONORS_LIST}} tag is not supported in the subject line of the message.
