Match My Gift adds a competitive, social element to the fundraising process by letting donors match another donor’s gift.
A donor clicks the MMG button on another donor's tile.
They are redirected to a checkout screen with the donation amount pre-filled.
After donating, they receive the usual thank you email, and:
The original donor’s tile displays a x1 badge near the trophy icon, indicating their donation was matched.
The original donor also gets an email notification saying their donation was matched.
This feature boosts donor engagement and fosters a sense of community participation.
After completing a donation, each donor receives a Personal Fundraising Link they can share with friends, family, or their network.
This link appears on the Thank You page and is included in the Thank You email via a merge tag.
Donations made through the link are credited to the original donor.
If both MMG and Personal Fundraising Link are enabled, the donor’s tile will show a combined icon representing both interactions.
